APMA EARTHQUAKE RESPONSE EFFORTS [08 OCT 2005 - 08 OCT 2006]

Kindly find attached one year report on APMA earthquake response efforts from 08 October 2005 till 08 October 2006.

Devastating earthquake on October 08, 2005 shook the land but also made a tragic lose of many precious lives. It was a great distress and sadness that the tragic earthquake wiped out houses, hospitals, schools, villages and towns in the Northern regions of Pakistan that resulted in very extensive lose of lives and destruction.

It has also been an unforgettable experience to see the great spirit of love and care on the basis of humanity is not only the national but International community who reached out to the affected areas and offered their best possible assistance to save the lives and make them able to survive.

Along with many other organizations All Pakistan Minorities Alliance

(APMA) also reached out to the affected families and assisted in rescue operations, relief, shelter, rehabilitation and reconstruction. Since it is already a year but the scare of devastation is still fresh in our minds, when thousands of love ones departed and million displaced.

On behalf of All Pakistan Minorities Alliance (APMA) I would like to humbly submit my whole hearted solidarity with the victims of earthquake especially children, orphans, widows and women.

I am also thankful for your support and solidarity with the victims and pray that Lord Almighty give you more blessings to give hope to the hopeless people.
